Battlehand is a mobile tactical RPG, based on freemium model. The game was developed by Another Place Productions, founded by co-creators of the Fable series.

Story

Battlehand offers a simple story layer. The action takes place in a standard, magical and inhuman fantasy land known as FellCrest, and the place is, obviously, on the verge of destruction due to the emergence of evil forces. In this case, they are represented by the cruel Queen Amethyst, who has powerful armies of various monsters at her disposal. Before her arrival there was a long period of peace, so all the heroes have been retired for a long time, but the invasion started forcing them to dust their old equipment and set out for a new war to defend of honour and justice.

Mechanics

Battlehand is a fairly classic tactical RPG, so the fun focuses mainly on turn-based battles. During the game we can recruit a large roster of heroes and each of them has unique skills and attacks. Of course, all of them can also be developed with the help of experience points accumulated during the skirmishes.

Standard battles are diversified by card game elements. During the adventures we slowly complete our own deck, enabling us to play effects that can often change the course of the battle. Like heroes, the cards themselves can also be upgraded and gain new levels of effectiveness.

Game mode

All of this can be played solo in the campaign or against other players in online PvP battles. There are also several variants of survival mode, where our task is to endure as long as possible against the endless waves of enemies controlled by artificial intelligence.
