Simulation game combining elements of city builder and economic strategy. The player is faced with the task of bringing a small, run-down resort to prosperity. In order to do that, he has to plan investments, build hotels, restaurants and bars, take care of the beach and the nearest neighbourhood, as well as provide tourists with entertainment and various attractions.
Beach Resort Simulator is a production of simulators with elements of strategy and economic game. The title was created by the little-known Earthworm Games studio, and its release was taken care of by Ravenscourt (its portfolio includes, among others, the Mining Company Simulator), which released the project in November 2014. The game reached Poland in September 2015 thanks to Ceneda - a distributor of such publishers as Namco Bandai Games, Paradox Interactive, Square Enix, Take 2 Interactive or Warner Bros.
While having fun we play as the manager of a seaside resort, and our task is, of course, to develop a small business to the name of a thriving company. At the beginning of the game in the seaside resort simulator is not too pink. Players find themselves on a deserted beach, where you have to build practically everything - from hotels and restaurants, through bars, to attractions like the Devil's mill. However, this is not the end of the problems, because the money does not fall from the sky, so making the necessary investments is done in small steps. After erecting a few basic buildings we are waiting for the first tourists to appear in the resort, who will leave their savings with us. The funds obtained in this way are spent on further expansion of the company, constantly increasing the interest and gaining access to new opportunities.
However, building is not the end of the attractions, because the manager's tasks also include setting the prices of stay in the resort, as well as agreeing with employees on their employment. Fortunately, all the meanderings of the system are explained in an accessible tutorial.
The production is available in Polish (subtitles) and English language version. QLOC S.A. is responsible for the location . What is interesting, the seaside resort simulator has not only received an ordinary, native version, but also Kashubian subtitles.
Graphic design of the game Seaside resort simulator is not the highest quality, but it has a pleasant holiday climate and in practice works quite well. Instead of a variety of fireworks and the greatest attention to detail, the developers focused on functionality. Production has low hardware requirements, the camera can be rotated and zoomed to view intersecting objects, etc.
