Beautiful Light

Mechanics

Beautiful Light is a first-person shooter (FPS). The game's main mode is Raid, an asymmetrical mode ing 24 players. Six squads of three players each are sent to an intervention area, tasked with recovering the mysterious artifact, avoiding threats (or dealing with them), calling in an extraction vehicle and escaping unharmed.

Survival is not easy, as each squad is independent. Firefights between units are frequent, cooperation being necessary to survival. The person carrying the artifact must also be protected, as they can't do much alone. As if that wasn't enough, six players control anomalies - human-hunting monsters opposed to every squad.

The stakes are high, as dying fails the mission and causes the player to lose everything they've had on them. This means it's often better to abandon the artifact and focus on saving themselves; unfortunately, to do so, we might also need to abandon our team in need...

In addition to regular gear, such as firearms and combat gadgets (like palmtops, laser sights, tactical lighting or night vision goggles) we can also use the artifacts themselves in combat, each of which has unique properties. As we progress through the game we develop our operative, unlocking new equipment, abilities and upgrading them.

Game modes

Beautiful Light is an exclusively multiplayer game. Players can use dedicated servers or set up their own.

Technical aspects

Beautiful Light boasts rather appealing visuals. The locations, realistic lighting and detailed weapons are all especially impressive.
