On the other side of the mirror 2: Witch Revenge is a sequel to the 2011 HOG (hidden object game) casual game. The player gets to know the fate of a young mother and her son. This time he has to help the main character in the pursuit of the title witch and save the boy from a fate worse than death.
Released in 2011, the casual game On the other side of the mirror met with a good reception among players. Encouraged by the success of Alawar Entertainment developers, they decided to prepare a continuation with more hidden object puzzles and logical mini-games.
The story On the other side of mirror 2: Revenge of the Witch shows further adventures of a young mother and her son. The woman travels through time and space in pursuit of the title witch. The player's task is to help the main character and save the boy from a terrible fate.
The game replicates the patterns typical for the species of casual adventures of the genus HOG. The basis of the game is searching for objects hidden in pictures and solving simple puzzles. However, the creators took care of a large variety of tasks, including searching for elements of armour needed to revive the skeleton, assembling a special exorcist's key or saving the witch from being burned at the stake.
On the other side of the mirror 2: Revenge of the Witches uses proven solutions. Two-dimensional graphics are based on hand drawn backgrounds and simple animations. The gameplay is pleasing due to the non-imposing background music.
