An educational programme designed for s over 7 years old. It is made up of a collection of 14 interesting spelling games which both children and their parents can play; the former - to learn and the latter – to revise the rules of spelling. It contains over 3,500 words divided into 9 topics as well as the rules of spelling. In each game proper spelling is practised. We wanted the programme to play the role of family entertainment and therefore we prepared the option of simultaneous play even for up to four participants. Owing to the interesting and dynamic games, learning to spell becomes a pleasure.
The games are selected from the main programme menu. In the middle of the screen there is the monument of the Spelling Master from which a historic book has been stolen. One starts the search by pointing at the monument. There are two options to choose from: training or chase.
In the chase one follows a bandit to the place where the book has been hidden. One must complete words properly in nine games. Numerous surprises await there. In the training option one can practise each game for as long as they wish, in order to get prepared for the chase. The games are: ice floats, a forest adventure, an underwater adventure, the Nile voyage, a railway journey through a prairie, a balloon flight, a flying carpet, a spelling crossword and secret cave code.
We have also prepared games in which from two to four players may participate. The first one is a tug-of-war. You should score as many points as possible and tug the rope to your side. Another game involves capturing castles and freeing ghosts imprisoned in them. You can also check your skills in a spelling tournament. A spelling mill is a useful part of the programme where you can correct words spelt in a wrong way during task solving.
The programme also includes the rules of spelling. The inhabitants of the spelling land present them in a TV programme. There is also a Factory of Words, where one can manufacture properly spelt words by means of using a special machine.
