The player takes on the role of a mage fighting for power over the remnants of the fantastic world of Laar, which was haunted by a powerful cataclysm. The game was produced by the Russian company Bytex. Its unquestionable advantage is the use of HTML 5, so it does not require the installation of additional browser plug-ins.
Berserk: The Cataclysm is a game for collectors. The units over which we take command are presented in the form of cards, which can be collected and arranged in decks tailored to our needs. In total there were 600 unique units in the game. Many world artists worked on the illustrations of each of them.
The game consists in a gradual conquest of larger and larger areas of the surviving land. After each victorious battle we get some gold and new units for the collection. It depends on the number of cards held and their skillful goodness and arrangement in the deck, the success of further play.
