Best Sniper: Shooting Hunter 3D takes place in a post-apocalyptic reality. North America became an extinct wasteland - the reason for this was an unsuccessful experiment aimed at resurrecting dinosaurs. However, things did not go as scientists planned, because it also led to the creation of abominations known as Humanosaurs - peculiar hybrids of humans and prehistoric reptiles. To make the matters worse, hordes of hungry zombies have also appeared on the continent. All this made the main hero, the title sharpshooter, grab his weapons and face the danger in an attempt to survive in a new, inhospitable reality.
In Best Sniper: Shooting Hunter 3D we observe the action from first-person perspective. During the game we cannot move across the locations, but only look around our surroundings. The pillar of the game is the story campaign, in which a number of missions and special challenges await us, testing our shooting skills - the tasks set before us focus on elimination of diverse opponents residing both on the surface and underwater.
Before firing a shot, it is advisable not only to carefully check the nearest area but also to scan the opponent using a special device indicating potential weak points, such as brain or lungs. Once the trigger is pressed, the camera focuses on the bullet, presenting hit on the target in a spectacular way. If our shot does not prove to be fatal to the victim, it usually charges at the protagonist - contrary to appearances, he is not doomed at this point, because he can still defend from the attack; provided that the player successfully completes a special Quick Time Event.
As we progress, we accumulate experience points and special prizes, and the rifles (fourteen of them) can be upgraded with fifteen improvements - this way we can ensure, for example, better stability of the weapon or even more storage capacity of the magazine.
Best Sniper: Shooting Hunter 3D features 3D graphics of decent quality. Due to the absence of free movement in locations, the devs could afford to refine their opponents' models, as well as to design a richer, more detailed environment.
