Blade: Sword of Elysion, released on AND and iOS, is an action-RPG set in a fantasy universe. The game is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by Four Thirty Three studio.
Plot
Blade: Sword of Elysion does not have any storyline. We simply play the role of a novice warrior who is thrown into a world full of monsters and other dangers.
Mechanics
At the beginning of Blade: Sword of Elysion we have to choose one of three classes - warrior, mage or assassin. Each of them offers a different fighting style and a set of unique skills, which we develop with accumulated experience points. The combat is typical for this genre - it takes place in real time and requires a good reflex. The controls are simple but they do not give us too much control over the way the attacks are carried out. That is why the authors have introduced the combo mechanics, which requires performing attacks at the right moment. The pairing system works in the same way - thanks to it, we can perform deadly counterattacks.
The game offers a sizable map offering hundreds of levels. In addition, there are sixty large dungeons and one endless dungeon with generated randomly locations. There is also a PvP mode, which allows you to face other players in ten-person battles in arenas designed especially for this purpose.
