Plot

BlazBlue: Entropy Effect is set in a dark future, the world having had fallen into chaos. To save their realm, humans plunged themselves into cyberspace known as ACE. The playable characters search for ways to handle the crisis as well.

Mechanics

BlazBlue: Entropy Effect is a side-scroller. The game features a wide roster of characters with differing playstyles. Once we've chosen our character, the game begins.

Our adventure leads us through various locations - neon-lit streets, futuristic interiors, dark ruins and dungeons. While traversing them, we move to the right, jump on platforms, avoid traps, obstacles and face hordes of enemies. Aside from regular foes we'll also face powerful bosses.

Combat is fast-paced, requiring constant movement, dodging and counter-attacking. The player must take advantage of their character's strengths and chain different attacks into effective combos. Though the combat system may seem complicated, it was designed to be accessible for players with little experience in slashers and fighting games. Certain skills can be transferred between different characters, letting us create extremely powerful heroes.
