A free Polish puzzle-sim game, tasking us with renovating residential buildings built during the communist rule. BLOKI is set in an actual, real-life Sluzew nad Dolinka estate.
BLOKI is an educational puzzle-sim game. It was co-developed by Bartosz Seifert and Sky World Games, and published by the Mazovia Institute of Culture.
BLOKI has us playing as an architect renovating residential buildings built during the communist rule in Poland, taking care of the surrounding space and implementing various environmentally friendly solutions. The in-game area is real - it's the Sluzew nad Dolinka estate in Poland.
Our basic task is re-coloring the building facades; there are many different colors and patterns to choose from, letting us customize the buildings to our liking. We must also design the frontyards, making sure they're both pretty and functional. Other than that, we should implement environmentally friendly solutions, such as installing solar s.
Though we're free to work as we see fit, the game assesses are actions on an ongoing bases, while earned points can be spent to unlock new functions and tools. This means we must put in some real effort to experience all of the game's content.
BLOKI features appealing visuals and an easily understandable interface. Frontyards are covered by a square grids, making it much easier to design them.
