Bongo Cat is a free "cat simulator" which can integrate with our computer's taskbar, running as an overlay. The titular cat can react each time we press a key on the keyboard or click a mouse button. Over time we unlock cosmetic items for our feline companion, including hats, bows or even entire costumes.
Bongo Cat is a small game that acts as a kind of overlay on the computer's taskbar, which counts all our keyboard taps and mouse clicks. The development of this game was led by independent developer Marcel Zurawka, who is at the helm of his own companies, Irox Games and BlueBottle. The game is available for free.
Gameplay
Interacting with Bongo Cat can hardly be called gameplay. After launching this title, a cat appears on the taskbar, which hits it with its paw every time we click or tap one of the keys. The rule is simple - one click or one keystroke gives us one point.
As we progress, we unlock cosmetic elements for our four-legged companion. Among them, we can find both simple accessories (like bows), as well as hats, and even entire costumes. Cosmetic additions are divided into common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary.
Additional info
Bongo Cat was based on a work by an artist known as Stray Rogue.
