Book of Hours revolves around a giant library partially destroyed by a fire. Many of the books were lost, while the primary librarian died. The playable character is an occultist, using their arcane knowledge to restore the lost books.
Book Of Hours is an RPG devoid of combat. The player must explore the library, using their abilities to restore encountered text. Some books withered away with the age of time, while others are cursed. Reading occult books grants the player new abilities. Over time, NPCs start arriving at the library, offering quests.
Book Of Hours features simple, cartoonish visuals.
