Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage for PC, PS3 and X360 offers new locations to visit and a decent set of fresh missions. The latter are interrupted by the well-known Circles of Slaughter tasks, during which the players has to defeat several waves of increasingly powerful enemies. The foes mostly come from the vanilla game but, at the same time, their appearance was adequately modified to match the plot and style of the expansion. The DLC also introduces new opponents, including new bosses such as the flamethrower-wielding Pyro Pete, Motor Mama that rides a powerfully-armed motorcycle, and Badassaurus Rex that resembles a cross between a tank and a mechanical dinosaur.

The DLC focuses primarily on spectacular battles which were designed to prove challenging even to seasoned players. At the same time, they offer a large variety so there is no room for boredom. Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage also introduces a new virtual currency of Torgue Tokens which is the only means of payment accepted by the vending machine near the crater. Only using them can we purchase special armaments manufactured by the Torgue corporation.
