Mechanics

Before we start playing Breach, we create a character by choosing gender and appearance and deciding on a profession. Classes were differentiated primarily in of combat skills, including, among others, a gunslinger, eliminating enemies from a safe distance, agile Assassin preferring close combat or the Chronomant with magical abilities.

The third-person gameplay is about traversing levels and battling adversaries; at the end of each stage, there is a powerful boss. The battles take place in real-time and require the player to juggle the hero's combat skills. As the protagonists move forward, they gain even more powerful skills, enabling them to face more and more dangerous challenges.

Game modes

Breach enables us to have fun solo as well as play in co-op with up to four people. In addition, the game features a Versus mode, in which the players stand against each other.

However, this is not the end, because in the Solo and Versus modes an additional participant of the game can take control of the Demon - a peculiar game master, which makes life difficult for heroes. This creature can not only set traps and obstacles in the path of its victims but also take direct control of smaller monsters.

Technical aspects

Breach features colorful, three-dimensional visuals. Instead of realism, the devs opted for an expressive, slightly cartoonish style.
