Bunny Bricks is an arcade game prepared by the French company Silmarils, usually known for "more serious" productions, such as Robinson's Requiem or the Ishar series. The program is in fact an Arkanoid clone, but served in a pleasant visual setting and seasoned with a sufficiently high dose of humour.

The main character of the program is a rabbit, who plays baseball professionally every day. One day, King Bong's envoys decide to kidnap his girlfriend. Having trapped her in a secret place, they force our charge to a difficult rescue mission. Renting a faithful baseball stick, the rabbit has to overcome thirty locations containing traps prepared by kidnappers. Of course, it boils down mainly to destroying the blocks located on the board, but the Silmarils programmers also tried to get some surprises. In later stages, in order to finish the struggle successfully, one has to try to activate the button opening the door, or blow up the dynamite sticks gathered at the top, sending the ball in the direction of the detonator.
An immensely important difference in relation to the original is our "pallet", or rather its lack. In Bunny Bricks the ball is reflected by hitting it with a stick, and we can do it in several ways (e.g. vertically upwards or at an angle). Mastering the basic movements requires some skill, especially since the range of the stick is limited and sometimes it is difficult to assess the place where it will meet the ball. As usual in this type of productions, various bonuses fall out of broken bricks. There are only six of them, but they still make the game much easier (especially the rifle).
Bunny Bricks boasts a very nice graphics, a large number of different locations and pleasant music. The high level of difficulty, as well as the unconventional approach to the subject of ball bouncing make Silmarils product stand out from the crowd of other games of this type.
