Release Date: May 16, 2025
A second collection of classic fighting games from Capcom's portfolio (the first set was released in 2022). In Capcom Fighting Collection 2 we can choose between 8 games, including classics like Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER, Power Stone or Capcom Fighting Evolution. All games feature training modes, special difficulty options and for Rollback network technology.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is a sequel of the compilation titled Capcom Fighting Collection, released in 2022. Similar to the original, we are dealing with a package of classic games from the portfolio of the titular Japanese producer. This compilation includes the following classic games:
The classics included in Capcom Fighting Collection 2 are fighting games in which we engage in duels in arenas.
In each of these productions, we embody characters that vary in of available combat skills and range of attacks. The key to success is using these last ones to create impressive and deadly combos.
Unlike the originals, individual games stand out due to the training mode, which has been implemented for each of them. This package has been enriched with the ability to save the game state, as well as various options that allow us to adjust the gameplay to individual preferences and skills. Thanks to them, we can adjust the level of difficulty or activate easy options, such as 1-button special attacks.
The cherry on top is the so-called Museum, where we will find over 700 graphics from the games that make up this compilation, design documents, and a music player that allows us to listen to over 300 songs.
We can play Capcom Fighting Collection 2 alone or in multiplayer mode. The collection allows for playing with other players on a shared screen or over the Internet. For the latter, the developers used the Rollback Netcode technology to ensure stable gameplay.
The audiovisual presentation of the games in the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 set remains unchanged compared to their originals. However, it has been enriched with filters that can be applied to the screen.

Game Ratings for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Video Game.
Capsule Computers: 8.5 / 10 by Dustin Spencer
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 bundles the obscure together in a compilation that aims to please with its unique blend of the other side of the fighting genre. While it may not be without its blemishes, there is sure to be something in this package for everyone.
Twisted Voxel: 8 / 10 by Salal Awan
A love letter to fighting game obscurities, delivering cult classics with modern polish. While the absence of Rival Schools stings and Capcom Fighting Evolution remains forgettable, the stellar online-ready Capcom vs. SNK duo and chaotic Power Stone revival make this a must-buy for genre devotees. Not every gem here shines equally, but the rollback netcode and wealth of extras elevate it beyond mere nostalgia bait.
NookGaming: 9 / 10 by Andrew Camac
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is yet another fantastic collection of Capcom fighting games. The selection is a little more mixed in of overall quality, but I feel this collection especially has more of “something for everybody” than the previous two. This is an absolute must-buy for fans of classic fighting games. It may be slightly lacking in the stronger single-player content, especially compared to newer fighting games, but between the charm of titles like Power Stone and Project Justice and the intense action of Capcom vs SNK 1 and 2, you’ll lose just as many hours as you would credits in the arcade.
