Catie in MeowmeowLand is a point & click adventure game inspired by the classics of the genre (led by the works of Amanita Design studio) and the novel Alice in Wonderland. It was developed by the independent Slovakian studio ARTillery.

Plot

The main character of the game Catie in MeowmeowLand is a girl named Catie. Following a white cat walking in her garden, the protagonist falls into a hole in the ground and lands in a strange land. This place, MeowmeowLand, is home to animals (mainly cats) and other creatures, not all of whom are friendly to our protagonist. After a rough landing, Catie has no choice but to embark on a long journey to uncover the mysteries of the land and hopefully find a way back home.

Game mechanics

Catie in MeowmeowLand is a side-scrolling adventure ame. We travel through various locations, meet the inhabitants of MeowmeowLand and help them solve their problems, as well as solve numerous and ingenious puzzles. The puzzles are mainly based on finding specific items and using them in various ways. The characters we meet communicate with us using speech balloons filled with drawings depicting the problems they face or presenting ways to solve particular puzzles.

Technical aspects

Catie in MeowmeowLand features colourful graphics in an eye-catching, cartoon style straight out of a children's book illustration. Animals inhabiting the title land are richly animated. Music and funny noises made by the characters perfectly match the gameplay.
