Just like in Xixit, the player has to manipulate blocks falling to the bottom of a deep well. Each of them is built of three different coloured segments. In order to score the layout and thus collect points for it, it is necessary to ensure that at least three of the same colours are in one line: vertical, horizontal or diagonal. Of course, the more complex the layout, the better rewarded. The game continues until one of the blocks reaches the highest level of the well.
Chain Reaction has almost the same options as the original, so here you will also find a fun mode for two players, difficulty grading, as well as changing the graphic appearance of the blocks. The player can also choose one of the five music tracks that will accompany him during the game and the presence of a background, which at higher levels makes it much more difficult to play. Generally, the Webfoot Technologies product is a good development of an old idea, although it is a pity that the authors did not try to add new elements.
