Chaos;Head Noah / Chaos;Child Double Pack is a compilation of the two aforementioned games under the banner of the Science Adventure Series - a series of visual novels popular primarily in Japan, whose storyline is inspired by conspiracy theories and urban legends, and explores themes related to scientific experimentation and technological progress. Both games in the set are the creations of the 5pb. and Nitroplus teams. It was released by Spike Chunsoft.

Plot

Chaos;Head Noah takes us on a journey to Tokyo, more precisely - to the Shibuya district. The main character of the game is Takumi Nishijo, who, as a so-called otaku, spends his time mainly playing online games and chatting over the Internet. His life is turned on its head when he receives photos of a brutal murder from a stranger, and the next day he is an accidental witness to the crime he saw in the photos he received. Not knowing what is reality and what is a product of his imagination, the boy begins to lose his mind.

The action of the game Chaos;Child, on the other hand, takes place in 2015. We follow the fate of Miyashiro Takuru, a member of the journalism club operating at Hekihou academy. Investigating the mysterious deaths of a streamer and a street musician who died in front of their audiences, Takuru and his friend come to the conclusion that it may be linked to the murders of six years ago. From then on, the protagonist does everything to reach the next potential victim in time, while trying to convince the other club of his hypothesis.

Game mechanics

The gameplay in the games included in the Chaos;Head Noah / Chaos;Child Double Pack set does not differ significantly from what we are used to in other visual novels. We follow the story, from time to time making decisions that affect the course of the plot and its ending.

Technical aspects

The games that make up the Chaos;Head Noah / Chaos;Child Double Pack feature colorful graphics made in a manga style. It consists primarily of static illustrations presenting individual characters and the situations and places in which they find themselves. We can listen to the atmospheric music.
