Chase the Express, released on PS1 (known as Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn in North America) is a three-dimensional action adventure game similar in of mechanics to Jumping Flash!.
The action of Chase the Express takes place mainly inside the titular train. The French ambassador and his family are onboard. "The "Knights of the Apocalypse", a group of terrorists commanded by former KGB member Boris Zugoski, attacks and takes control of the machine, threatening to kill hostages and launch nuclear weapons. We play as Lieutenant Jack Marton, the last surviving member of the train's escort, who must save the innocents and prevent a catastrophe.
In Chase the Express, released on PS1, is to go through successive wagons, eliminating terrorists along the way, fighting against bosses and solving simple environmental riddles. The action is presented from the third-person perspective, and the protagonist can use melee and ranged weapons. It is also possible to improve the latter by using parts found during the game. In addition to regular fights, Marton can also sneak up on his opponents. The player can lean out of corners to explore the terrain.
It is worth mentioning that part of the game takes place in Poland. During one chapter, the train es through Poznan, while during another chapter it es through Warsaw. In addition, in the course of the game, the player is forced to make several important decisions that have a significant impact on the end of Chase the Express.
