Chernobyl 1986 shows the action from the side, as in the famous This War of Mine. The game features a series of diverse missions in which we are given tasks such as coordinating firefighters and extinguishing a reactor fire, evacuating the facility's workers, helping the injured and finally removing radioactive graphite from the plant and its surroundings. This is complicated by the fact that the next explosions are possible, and the murderous radiation that we have to measure is still around. In addition, the fact that many people working on clean-up die in front of their colleagues not only forces us to constantly monitor the health of our crew, but also causes panic among them at any time. For this reason, the key to success during the game is the ability to make rapid decisions, tactical sense, which translates into the need to allocate appropriate tasks to individual subordinates, and cool head, because the implementation of some objectives involves sending people to certain death.

Technical aspects

Chernobyl 1986 features good quality graphics. The game features scenes clearly inspired by the popular HBO series Chernobyl, such as a helicopter crashing while trying to extinguish a reactor fire that falls to the ground due to too much exposure to extreme radiation.
