Humorous, cartoon convention arcade shooting of the kind of "viewfinder". (rail shooter). The player plays the role of a poultry farmer who has to face the invasion of crazy chickens. The title was produced by Frontline studio in Bydgoszcz for casual customers.
Chicken Blaster, released on Wii and NDS, was developed by Frontline studio. The game is addressed to fans of the so-called rail shooters - simple, first-person arcade shooting games.
The peaceful life on the farm suddenly fell into ruins with the arrival of feathered intruders. Crazy chickens took control of the area, and what's worse, they also managed to ally with the chickens from the farm. The farmer's only choice is to grab the weapons. Crazy birds, however, do not intend to give up easily...
During the game, the player plays the role of the farmer. To regain control of the farm, the hero has to shoot crazy chickens and defend himself against egg salvos. As befits a rail shooter, the game focuses on dexterity and reflexes.
The creators have prepared several thematically diversified levels (e.g. barn, house interior, courtyard), where you can meet many types of opponents (e.g. chickens with forks, chickens with jetpacks and chickens with rotors). We can eliminate them by using a large arsenal of weapons - from an ordinary revolver, through rifles and shotguns, to rocket launchers and dynamite sticks.
The three-dimensional graphics in Chicken Blaster are kept in cartoon style which works well with the humorous animations. The majority of the sounds consist of gunshots and chickens' screaming.
