Chutes and Ladders is a children's board game popular in the United States, created in 1952 by Milton Bradley and based on the traditional Indian game moksha pAtam (free translation of The Road to Salvation). ImaginEngine studio in cooperation with Hasbro toy company undertook the preparation of its computer adaptation.

The game is addressed to children aged 4-7 years and is characterized by exceptionally simple rules. The game takes place on a square board measuring 10 x 10 fields. Participants (maximum of four) have to move their pawns by the number of fields according to the value indicated by the dice throw. The winner is the person who first reaches the finish line in the upper left corner. The competition is diversified by ladders and slides located in some fields. The first shorten the road, and the second cause the cone to be moved backwards by several levels.
