Game mechanics

In Circus Electrique we lead into battle a team of daredevils selected from a larger group. There are a total of fourteen character classes to check out; among them we can find clowns, strongmen and fire-eaters. Each of them has a unique set of skills, which are used both on the battlefield and during the circus performances.

London is divided into six districts. In each of them awaits a series of clashes with the villains plaguing the inhabitants. On our way we encounter, among others, murderous sailors, terrifying mimes or even powerful steam-powered robots. The battles presented from the side take place in turn-based mode. During them we should primarily focus on the skillful use of the abilities of individual characters, keeping in mind that the various archetypes complement each other. In addition, the morale of heroes plays an important role here; high enough gives them an additional advantage over their opponents.

But it doesn't end there, because we have to manage the circus. Visiting subsequent districts, we have to organize performances, which can also be quite a challenge. Participation in a particular show excludes the acrobat from the fight, and his mood and who he goes on stage with affect the quality of his performance.

We spend the money we earn on recruiting and training new acrobats; we also buy better and better equipment.
