Release Date: June 18, 2019
A humorous RPG game in which we take on the role of Earth's Ambassador. He travels across the globe, confronts threats and recruits title citizens. All to find the Blue Planet that... went missing without a word.
Citizens of Space is a continuation of the humorous 2015 RPG titled Citizens of Earth. The devs of the original, Eden Industries, are responsible for the development of the title.
The main character of the game is the new Earth Ambassador to the Galactic Federation of Planets. On his first day in his new position, the protagonist has to face a real problem - his homeworld disappeared without a trace. There is nothing left for our character but to find the perpetrators of all the confusion and bring Earth to its place, otherwise, he can kiss his new job goodbye.
In Citizens of Space, the action is shown from bird's eye view. As we play, we travel across the surfaces of different planets, differentiated in of appearance and the creatures that inhabit them, as well as the dangers lurking in wait for the Ambassador. Just like in the first installment of the series, the hero is not alone, because during the adventure he recruits the title Citizens. There are forty characters, each of them equipped with individual weapons and skills. Combat also plays an important role here, both against smaller adversaries and the much more powerful bosses. Although the clashes take place in turn-based mode, they are based on dynamic mini-games checking our reflexes and dexterity. As we move forward, we develop the Ambassador and Citizens, thereby increasing their combat potential.
Visuals of Citizens of Space adopt the colorful, cartoonish style known from the original.

PlayStation Universe: 8 / 10 by Garri Bagdasarov
It's always nice to be surprised by a title. Citizens of Space is one of those games where you can see the ion and more importantly the fun the developers had making it. Citizens of Space oozes charisma and for those looking for a fun silly experience, this is the game for you.

I just have a hard time figuring out what the ambition or goal behind this game is. Who was this game for? I honestly don’t know of anyone that would find the writing style funny or would be willing to stick it out for the full length of the game. Personally, I think comedy is better when its balanced with drama. Having a focus on comedy doesn’t mean you have to constantly have an attempt at a joke in every single line of dialogue. It doesn’t help that none of the jokes landed for me. Maybe a small chuckle here and there, but more often than not, I found it annoying. I also don’t think it means you have to forego any sort of real character development. This feels like an episode of some bad “adult” cartoon sitcom but stretched to 30 hours. If you really like that sort of humor, I suppose I can recommend it. $15 is a pretty cheap price, so you might get your money’s worth. For everyone else though, I can’t recommend it.
NintendoWorldReport: 8.5 / 10 by Adam Abou-Nasr
Citizens Of Space offers a ton of worthwhile content for anyone in search of something light. Technical issues keep the adventure from matching its scenario's quality, but the excellent music plays on in my head. The last 9% of Earth still calls. The galaxy may be saved, but this ambassador ambasses on.
