Clicker Heroes is an arcade game with RPG elements. The game represents clickers genre - simple productions in which the gameplay is limited to tapping on the screen of a smartphone or tablet. The title, available in a free-to-play model, was developed by Playsaurus, the developers of another free game - Cloudstone.
Mechanics
We play as an adventurer who travels the fantastical world full of various creatures. Our task is to defeat all of them, but in order to do this, we need to grow in strength and hire assistants.
The game comes down to literally clicking the monsters to death and then collecting gold coins falling out of their bodies. With their help, we can improve our character so that we can deal more damage. But that's not all, because you can also hire a helper for gold who will fight with other creatures on their own, even when the game is turned off. In this way, we defeat whole hordes of enemies and earn money, which we later spend on other warriors.
The campaign is divided into levels where we have ten creatures to overcome. After ing a few such levels, we fight against a boss. This battle differs from ordinary skirmishes not only in the fact that the "boss" has a lot of life energy but also in the fact that we have half a minute to defeat it. If we fail, the monster's health returns to its initial state and we have to try again (you can't die in the game).
