Cliff Empire is a city builder game, set in postapocalyptic reality. The game was produced by Lion's Shade. During the game, the player takes control of several settlements with a task to expand these cities and take care of the needs of their inhabitants.

Plot

The world depicted in the Cliff Empire was destroyed in a nuclear war. As a result of radioactive contamination, the entire surface of the planet is now covered in poisonous fog. The only place where people can survive is the roof of tall buildings.

Mechanics

Cliff Empire is one of the classic representatives of the city builder genre. The player takes control of several independently operating (but interconnected) cities. One's task is to expand the settlements and take care of the needs of their inhabitants. For this purpose, more than 120 buildings can be erected. In addition, 48 new technologies can be developed to improve the performance of a small metropolis during the game.

During the game, players can produce 15 different types of goods, which they can then distribute among the residents or sell. Cliff Empire features a system of dynamic weather changes, which also affects the economic situation.

Game modes

Cliff Empire offers only the single player mode. Players have 15 story missions at their disposal, for the completion of which new locations are unlocked. Additionally, players can enjoy the sandbox mode.

Technical aspects

Cliff Empire offers three-dimensional visuals. During the game, players can observe the city from the top-down perspective or move through its streets.
