An adventure game with simulation elements that takes us to the futuristic metropolis of Nivalis. Playing the role of Naria, a newly baked courier, we travel the city, completing tasks, making acquaintances with the residents and learning more about its secrets.
Cloudpunk is a title verging on adventure game and simulation, which is developed by an independent studio Ion Lands. We are talking about a team, whose portfolio includes the warmly-received Phoning Home.
Cloudpunk takes us on a journey to the futuristic city of Nivalis, which is dominated by skyscrapers several kilometers high. We play as Rania, the freshly baked employee of the title Cloudpunk - a supply company that runs both legal and less public business. During her first night shift as a courier, Rania not only meets new residents of Nivalis but also makes decisions whose consequences can be felt by the whole metropolis.
The main element of Cloudpunk is exploration, which we can do on foot (observing the character in isometric view) or behind the controls of a flying car (which we can see in TPP view). As we take on new assignments, we come across a variety of characters - from the ordinary inhabitants of the city, through unscrupulous warlords, to androids. While completing the tasks, we gradually discover the secrets of the city and conspiracies schemed by corporations, hackers or dishonest artificial intelligence.
Characteristic feature of Cloudpunk is the original visual style. The three-dimensional graphics of the game is based on voxels.

Cloudpunk is a fantastic sci-fi dystopia, with some great writing and voice-acting which helps bring the stories of the people of Nivalis to life. Whilst the experience can get a bit repetitive the excellence elsewhere ensures it is worth experiencing.
