A third stand-alone expansion for Company of Heroes 2. It was developed by the Relic Entertainment studio, creators of the base game and the two previous expansions. As in the case of the Western Front Armies add-on, developers focused mainly on the multiplayer mode and added British Armed Forces to network game.
The British Forces is the third standalone expansion to Company of Heroes 2. The developers from the Relic Entertainment studio have, yet again, decided to focus solely on the multiplayer mode. The newest DLC does not require an installed copy of the game’s vanilla version.
Along with the newest expansion to Company of Heroes 2 come the armies of Great Britain, long-awaited by the fans of the cycle. The developers have added 15 different unit types (e.g. the flame-throwing Churchill Crocodile tank or the RAF glider), 6 commanders with various sets of abilities and 8 new maps, designed to resemble historically accurate locations in the European theatre of World War II. Relic has also taken into consideration the variety of nationalities which the British Army had consisted of, The British Forces factors in the cultural differences between the English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish troops, which makes playing the newest force in CoH 2 even more entertaining.
Moreover, the expansion allows the players to choose from two separate lines in the tech tree, which, interestingly, are the genuine strategies applied by the British Forces during the previously mentioned conflict. The Anvil tactic focuses on acquiring heavily fortified defensive positions, while the Hammer approach relies on extreme aggression and dynamic manoeuvers from your offensive units.
The British Forces, unlike the previously released Ardennes Assault, features some changes to the graphics of Company of Heroes 2. The Relic Entertainment studio has decided to apply some cosmetic adjustments, which enhance the overall level of visuals and animations. The corrections have been made to units from the vanilla version of the title, as well as all of the available expansions; the developers have also rebalanced all of the playable factions.

British Army Expansion Coming to Company of Heroes 2
Developers from Relic Games have published online an image suggesting that in the next expansion they are planning to add the British army to their strategy game. What's more, screens surfaced on Reddit showing new units.
