Ghost Divisions is the first expansion to the turn-based strategy Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear!. Western Civilization Software studio prepared 2 new campaigns consisting of a total of 10 scenarios in the summer of 1941 on the eastern front.

An adaptation of the award-winning board game Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear! was very well received by fans of classic turn-based strategies. This encouraged the Western Civilization Software development team to start working on add-ons, which primarily resulted in the extension of Ghost Divisions.

The plugin contains two new campaigns, consisting of a total of 10 scenarios that can also be played separately. The historical background in this case is the spectacular march of the German Army Group Middle and the desperate attempts by the Red Army to stop the attackers entering the territory of the USSR in the summer of 1941.

In the 7th Panzer campaign (consisting of scenarios: Deadly Rise, Dogs of War, The Gauntlet, The Dvina and No Quarter) players can take part in the Battle of the Sound and the attack on Polotsk. In the Grossdeutschland Regiment campaign (No Stone Unturned, The Lodge, Kruglowka Railway, Hold the Line and Railyards), the struggle to control the routes leading to the east was presented.

The creators have remained faithful to the rules of the game from the basic version of the game, which differ only slightly from the board original. Plugin introduces one important change, allowing you to play full campaigns in online mode of competition with a live opponent.

In the audiovisual layer of Conflict of Heroes: Ghost Divisions does not deviate from the standards set by the basic game - Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear! Three-dimensional graphics are still trying to "pretend" a board game with a hexed map, which is spread out on the table and tokens symbolizing the individual units.
