Gameplay

Copa City is a strategy in which we take on the role of the host of a football match, dealing both with its organization and the logistical preparation of the city for the event. Thanks to licenses for real stadiums and clubs, their characteristic elements appear in the game. In the case of football teams, it's not only the crest and colors, but also things like club chants or specific preferences of the fans of a particular team.

The game allows us to plan routes, as well as, for example, build a hotel base, restaurants or temporary fan zones. The investments we undertake aim to satisfy four basic needs of fans, which are related to accommodation, entertainment, catering, and ensuring safety. The requirements depend on which groups the fans belong to, therefore we need to take into the needs of both hardcore fans and families visiting football matches.

Promotion plays a crucial role, thanks to which we increase the available budget. Aggressive advertising and strong exposure of sponsors can discourage fans, so it is necessary to maintain a balance in our actions.

Game modes

Copa City was created with the single player in mind. The game offers three modes. Apart from the story campaign, we also have two modes aimed at experienced tycoon fans. The first of them is Challenge - a scenario that sets a specific goal for us, giving us an hour to accomplish it. In Single Match mode, we choose the city, competing teams, and economic conditions, and then carry out tasks related to the event.
