Country Dance is the first installment of a series of dance games created by the development team of High Voltage Software. Players can test their skills dancing to the rhythm of their favorite contra songs. The soundtrack of the game includes pieces performed by Johnny Cash, Randy Travis and Miley Cyrus, among others.
Country Dance is a game created for fans of cowboy dances. Developers from High Voltage Software studio used proven solutions known from such productions as Just Dance or Michael Jackson: The Experience, adapting them to the specificity of country style.
Players have the opportunity to show off their sense of rhythm, dancing to over 25 hits performed by renowned country music stars, led by Johnny Cashem, Randy Travis and Miley Cyrus. According to the genre canon, the game consists in making moves in accordance with the instructions displayed on the screen. Unlike competing productions, a standard Wii Remote controller for the Nintendo Wii console is enough for fun.
Country Dance is distinguished by a simple, yet aesthetically made visual setting, in which elements related to American folklore dominate. Players also have a lot of freedom in choosing and individualizing the appearance of their dance avatars.
