Plot

The protagonist of Creepy Tale 3: Ingrid Penance is the titular Ingrid, damned into hell for the crime of stepping on bread to avoid soiling her shoes. She must break through the darkness, atone for her flaws and find a way out. It's up to us how her journey will end.

Creepy Tale 3: Ingrid Penance is a side-scroller. The game is set in various hellish areas swarming with infernal creatures. Thankfully not all are hostile: Ingrid's greatest ally on her journey is Molek, a talkative, sarcastic demon fascinated by her adventure. Talking to devils and other dwellers of the underworld lets us learn more about this dark land.

There are numerous challenging puzzles along the way, tasking us with finding items, using them in specific ways and interacting with the environment. The game also features a karma system, our choices affecting the dialogue and the ending.

Technical aspects

Creepy Tale 3: Ingrid Penance retains the dark, cartoonish artstyle known from the previous installments of the series. The game's soundtrack amplifies its atmosphere of dread.
