Another installment of a cricket manager series, developed since 2009 by Childish Games studio. The game follows in the footsteps of the previous games which means that, once again, the players have to manage cricket teams and lead them to victory. The player's responsibility is to find new players, create effective line-ups and tactics as well as find sponsors.
Cricket Captain 2017 is another installment of a cricket manager series established in 1998 by Empire Interactive studio. Since 2009 Childish Games were developing the series.
The gameplay in Cricket Captain 2017, available on PC Windows, follows the footsteps of the previous games from this series. Players have to manage cricket teams so they can achieve the biggest successes. In order to do that we search for new players, create effective line-ups and tactics as well as find sponsors that can help in ing our team. The 2017 version offers 130 teams from eight countries, new 20-over leagues from West India, Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh as well as national leagues from West India and Pakistan. In addition to that the developers created scenarios that allows players to play historical matches, e.g. England vs South Africa from 2003. Besides that, Cricket Captain 2017 adds additional statistics, e.g. stadium and international records.
Cricket Captain 2017 has a single player mode but it also offers the option to face other players online.
Cricket Captain 2017 introduces new interface and improved 3D engine, which is used during matches. Like the previous games, this version also has an updated players and teams database.
