Dan The Man is a beat 'em up created by Halfbrick Studios - the developers of Fruit Ninja. The game is available on AND and iOS in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
The action of Dan The Man takes place in a fictional village, attacked by a sinister organization. Josie, the titular character's girlfrend, fights for survival in an attempt to confront the invaders. Our goal is to save her and other inhabitants of the village.
In Dan The Man, we can either create our hero or use one of the predefined characters - Dan, Josie or Barry. The action is presented from a side, and the gameplay focuses on exploring subsequent levels and fighting hordes of invaders. In addition to standard opponents, which are not too difficult to defeat, we will face bosses. These fights require powerful weapons, a good reflex and proper tactics. The farther we progress, the more powerful weapons we find - from knives and pistols, through rifles, to rocket launchers. We can also unlock special skills and costumes.
The core of Dan The Man is the Story Mode consisting of twelve different stages. In addition, we have the Survival Mode where we face endless waves of opponents, and Battle Mode. In addition, developers are also updating the game with new challenges related to unique bonuses.
Dan The Man is characterized by a neat and clear graphic design that is reminiscent of another game from Halfbrick Studios - Jetpack Joyride.
