For the time being, this struggle remains in a fragile balance, but the question arises as to whether a possible victory by one of the parties will bring peace or whether it will become the beginning of a new war. Day Watch is a "twin" position for Night Watch, and like Nival Interactive's earlier work, it is a mix of strategy and RPG. This time the inspiration for Sergei Lukyanenko's novel Dniewnoj Dozor was also used, and the player has the opportunity to become a title member of the Daily Patrol.
The game is certainly intended for fans of dark climates, because playing one of the Dark, colloquially speaking, all tricks are allowed. For example, we can "use" the unconscious person to regain some vital energy at his or her expense. You simply act according to your own, often amoral rules, but that's what makes you practically invincible. One of the main aspects that distinguish Day Watch from Night Watch is the ability to flexibly adapt your character to your mission. For example, if we change the appearance of the main character - Anna (her hairstyles, clothes, equipment she uses), the reaction of NPCs who come into with her will also change. Thanks to this, new possibilities of gameplay are opening up for us.
The action of the game takes place not only on the streets of Moscow, but also moves us to the USA or . Day Watch offers addictive magical duels with powerful enemies, new abilities and character skills (especially those possible to use in Darkness). Also interesting are the so-called combo-incantations, which require the cooperation of a few Dark ones. It goes without saying that spells cast in such a way are much stronger than "one-man" spells. Additionally, after a special ritual, Anna can turn into a deadly demon.
Game developers have implemented to their work a dynamic system of changes in the level of complexity and difficulty. Its basic level is, of course, set at the beginning of the game, but before the start of each mission we have the opportunity to make corrections. Before each mission we can also hire additional helpers, but the success of this depends on the level of development of our character and on the aforementioned apprenticeship.
