A major DLC for the second installment of the science-fiction third-person shooter series by Visceral Games. It is available exclusively for the owners of the console version of Dead Space 2: Severed and tells the story of two heroes, Gabe and Lexine, whom we know from Dead Space: Extraction, a spin-off to the franchise.

Dead Space 2: Severed is the first DLC supplement to Isaac Clarke's adventures made available through digital distribution. Visceral Games studio is responsible for its production.
DS2: Severed tells the story of two heroes - Gabe and Lexine - known from the game Dead Space: Extraction, originally released on Wii (and then presented to PlayStation 3 owners in an improved version). The player plays the first of them, who together with his companion tries to escape from the space station Sprawl, facing hordes of necromorphs.
The addition consists of two chapters, and the events presented in it take place parallel to Isaac Clarke's adventures. This gives the player the opportunity to look at the conflict from a slightly different angle.
