Forsaken is so far the biggest expansion to Destiny 2, a hybrid of a first-person shooter and a MMO. The title was developed by Bungie Software.
Destiny 2: Forsaken is taking the players on a journey to the remains of the Reef, located in the web of asteroids between Mars and Jupiter. It is the home of the Awoken, on the border of which after years of combat a Tangled Shore was created. It is a haven for pirates and bandits who are looking for lost treasures. The players visit this place with famous Cayde-6 and their task is to investigate the disturbances that are recently common in the place. Once they arrive at the destination, they discover that eight great criminals known as Barons have escaped the prison. Deciding to work against a direct order, the heroes begin a pursuit the criminals.
Destiny 2: Forsaken most of all features many new missions and a raid in which the players will face the last of the criminals who escaped. The DLC introduces two new locations (Tangled Shore and Dreaming City) and nine new super skills for players’ characters. The expansion enables the players to test a wide variety of previously unseen weapons, armors and equipment, including a new weapons type – Legendary Bow. In order to encourage the players to hunt for better equipment, the developers restored random weapon statistics known from the first entry in the series (in the base version of Destiny 2 each weapon had pre-determined statistics).
Destiny 2: Forsaken introduces a new gameplay mode called Gambit. It features traits of PvP and PvE modes. During the game, the players are split into two teams of four people and they are killing enemies controlled by an artificial intelligence. At the same time, they are charging their energy banks. Once the energy is full, they can summon the elemental evil and send it on their competitors.
Destiny 2: Forsaken requires the basic version of Destiny 2 to work. The expansion doesn’t introduce any changes to the graphics or the sounds of the game.

Destiny is a series of first-person shooters with a touch of MMO and RPG elements. The series combines a science fiction climate with fantasy elements: players take on the role of futuristic warriors using both firearms and supernatural powers. The main job here is to eliminate soldiers of alien races that serve the ancient cosmic Darkness. During the execution of missions, even the story missions, we can encounter other players and cooperate with them. The fun is accompanied by acquiring better and better weapons and armor, known from erpegs, as well as climbing to new experience levels and unlocking new skills.
Financial report of Activision Blizzard has been released. The publisher is not satisfied with the results of Destiny 2: Forsaken. On the other hand, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is doing much better on a PC than Black Ops 3.
