Detective Saddle Detective is the third installment of a series of adventures based on the prose of the German writer Karin Müller. The production of Radon Labs studio is addressed to young audiences who like horseback riding and solving riddles.
The plot of the game depicts the adventures of three friends from an equestrian club. Their friend Ania is a promising jockey, who put a lot of effort into preparing for participation in hippie shows Arena Caballo. Unfortunately, to the surprise of everyone during the performance, the mare Lajana, ridden by Ania, unexpectedly cuddled and the girl suffered a serious fall. Young detectives suspect that it was not an ordinary accident....
The game combines elements of adventure and skill game. Trying to solve the riddle, players must find evidence of sabotage and point out the guilty parties. This requires, among other things, the ability to solve logical problems and to associate facts. In addition, players must take care of the injured horse, train it and prepare it for the competition.
The game's visual setting was made with the use of 3D graphics. However, character and environment models are characterized by considerable simplifications and a small number of details, which clearly indicates the low-budget character of the production, which is intended for less demanding customers.
