Story
Gameplay

Discolored 2 is the second installment of the series of games on the border of adventure and logic titles, initiated in 2019. The development of this sequel was handled by the independent studio Godbey Games, founded by Jason Godbey. It has in its portfolio both the first installment of the series and the project titled The Search.

Story

Discolored 2 transports us to the surreal universe created for the purpose of the first part of the series. Colors have a real power here, so when the world around us begins to lose them, our task is to stop and reverse this process. The stakes are high, and the situation is complicated by the fact that we are being pursued by of a secret organization that uses the power of colors for their own nefarious purposes. Our only hope turns out to be a woman in a red dress, who can help us prevent the discoloration of reality.

Gameplay

In Discolored 2 we watch events from a first-person perspective (FPP). The adventure leads us through various locations, among which the interiors maintained in a simple and at the same time unusual style are predominant. We mainly focus on exploration and solving puzzles in the game.

Logical and environmental puzzles primarily involve interacting with elements of the environment and manipulating switches, connecting wires, and setting up electronics in a specific way. Thanks to this, we gain access to more places and push the story forward. Additionally, solving puzzles allows us to outmaneuver the agents chasing us, and to ultimately restore the colors of the reality surrounding us. As we progress, we learn more about the world, gradually uncovering the secrets it hides.
