Dog Duty is a tactical real-time action game with a top-down view. The developers from the small Zanardi and Liza studio made an effort to create a colorful and interesting world, designed in the style of pixel art, which we watch from the isometric top-down view. During the production of the title, the developers were ed by the publisher - SOEDESCO Publishing. The publisher has prepared a game port for consoles. In the game, we control a group of mercenaries who fight the evil Octopus Commander.

Plot

In Dog Duty, we control a group of mercenary unit, which stands to fight with the Octopus Commander. The Octopus tries to disrupt the world peace by releasing deadly machines. Our task is to gather a team, defeat the soldiers sent against us, and finally face the Octopus Commander.

Mechanics

In the game, we control a group of mercenaries. Exploring and liberating new comrades we can increase the number of the group to 8 soldiers, but at the same time there can be a maximum of 3 soldiers in the team. The available warriors differ in their weapons and skills.

We're running our troops in real time. Often the overwhelming forces of the enemy stand in our way. The victory will be achieved by placing our subordinates in the right position and hiding behind covers. For the success of the mission it is necessary to select the skills of the soldiers in such a way that they complement each other.

The game has an open world, which is filled with guard posts occupied by enemies. We move between hostile bases using vehicles. For this solution, the developers have implemented two game modes. The first mode offers a troops view. In it we take direct control over our soldiers. The map then becomes more detailed and the area where we are currently located is zoomed in. The second game mode is used to move the vehicles faster, then we can also be attacked by enemies, but it is much easier to escape - if we need it.

In the game, we have the opportunity to face different types of enemies, and from time to time we have special fights with bosses.
