The second spin-off of a series of agricultural RPGs titled Story of Seasons, based on the license of the Doraemon manga. In Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom we play as Nobita, who arrives on a strange planet and helps a newly met friend rebuild his farm.
Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom is the second spin-off of a series of agricultural RPGs titled Story of Seasons, based on the license of a popular manga (which was also adapted into an anime series). It was developed by Marvelous studio and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The main character of the game Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom is a boy named Nobita, known from the original. Having at his side his faithful companion - Doraemon - the protagonist arrives on a strange planet. Upon reaching the place, our charges meet a young man named Lumis, whose dream is to restore his old farm to its former glory. Without thinking too long, Noby and his friend decide to help their new acquaintance.
In Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom we observe the action from an isometric view. In the work on the farm, which is the main element of the gameplay, we are helped by various and very useful Doraemon gadgets. The Mini Raincloud allows us to water the crops, the Farm Restaurant allows us to collect cooked meals, the Hopter and Extra Hold Cloud Spray allow us to create gardens hanging in the air, while the Adapting Ray allows us to grow pearls underwater (and dive for them). In addition, as no farm can do without animals, we have to take care of them too.
In breaks from work, we can explore the surroundings, where we can find wheat fields reaching to the horizon, a picturesque cape or a dense forest. Individual locations change over the seasons, so it's worth returning to them even after visiting them. In addition, we get to know the inhabitants of the planet and take part in various events, such as watching fireworks or iring shooting stars and the first sunrise of the new year together.
Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom can be played solo or in local cooperative mode.
