Dorfs: Hammers for Hire

Game mechanics

Dorfs: Hammers for Hire is a 2.5D platform game, which means that the graphics were made in 3D, but movement is done in two dimensions.

Our task is to collect resources and produce items using an extensive crafting system. Each map fits fully on the screen and is full of obstacles and hazards that we have to avoid while playing.

Timing plays a key role - armies need a quick and regular supply of weapons and armor, so players have to hustle like hell to make it in time and satisfy the expectations of their customers.

Game modes

The game was designed mainly with a co-op mode for up to four people in mind. It is available both over the Internet and on a shared or split screen. Solo play is also possible and then the other dwarves are controlled by artificial intelligence.

The game offers a story campaign with 30 maps and two additional game modes - in Arcade, four dwarves have to overcome ten solo levels. In Versus, on the other hand, two character duos face each other in PvP competition. All three modes are available in both multiplayer and single player.
