A humorous action adventure game and the debut title from Crows Crows Crows. The action of Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist takes place in Europe during a hot summer that made history as a result of a series of thefts of some of the most valuable works of art. The players assume the role of a thief that committed those crimes and his next target is a vault in a highly-secured manor full of valuables.
Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist is a free action adventure game for PC. It is a debut production of Crows Crows Crows and its lead designer was William Pugh, the co-creator of the bestselling The Stanley Parable.
The action takes place in Europe during a hot summer. Previous weeks brought with them a notorious series of thefts of some of the most valuable works of art. We assume the role of the thief who committed all of these crimes and still has an appetite for more. Our latest target is a heavily guarded manor, where lies a vault full of teasures.
Completing Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist takes about over a dozen minutes. The action is observed from the first-person perspective and our task is to explore the maps and avoid activating the security systems.
The above description creates an impression that this is a classical stealth game. In reality, it is completely different. The title has a second layer in which the production’s content is some sort of a bizarre show organized by a crazy and completely unprepared group of unhappy employees. Therefore, when we start out and have loaded the data, we are taken back to the start menu and can hear distant voices of some people roaming and complaining that they'd failed to prepare all the locations that we are about to visit.
In fact, Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist is primarily about exploration and finding all the hidden jokes and funny situations that the developers created. Arcade challenges happen rather rarely.
It is also worth to mention that the game is completely free. It can be ed at no charge and offers no micro-payments whatsoever.
