Dragon Ball GT: Transformation is a two-dimensional action game created by Webfoot Technologies for Game Boy Advance console owners. The game refers to the plot of the cult anime by Akira Toriya.
The main protagonist of the title is Goku, an excellent warrior who has proved many times that he is able to protect the universe from the temptations of evil. We find our charges during our daily training with a friend, Uub. Shortly after this routine, Goku's life changes dramatically. The ominous emperor Pilaf decided to conquer the world and turned our hero into a child. In order to restore order and return to the right age, the player must collect the title dragon balls, marked with the symbols of the black stars. The seven planets of the Solar System should be visited in order to collect these objects.
The game consists of twelve different levels, where our main task is to deal with different ointments of monsters. We are not alone in the fight, because already before the game begins we build a team of three people, composed of characters as characteristic for the series as Vegeta or Pan. We have ten well-trained individuals at our disposal to create a team. At any time of the game we can switch from one warrior to another, so that the hero tired of fighting can catch his breath and replenish his energy resources. Although the control is not too complicated, it allows us to perform many attacks, combined with jumps, evasions and the use of special powers required to clash with the bosses.
Unfortunately, the main game mode, Story Mode, as well as the twinly similar Standard Mode, do not the multiplayer option. Multiplayer is only foreseen in such challenges as Endurance, Boss Endurance, Robot Swarm and Piccolo. Dragon Ball GT: Transformation uses a two-dimensional engine that effectively imitates the 3D environment in some game stages. The appearance of the locations and characters, created with the help of 32 thousand colors, brings to mind the specific atmosphere of the Japanese anime.
