A fighting game developed by Bandai, based on the license of the cult-classic manga created by Akira Toriyama. The mainstay of the game is the story mode, in which the players can follow the three sagas known from the animated series: Namek, Android, and Majin Buu. We assume the role of Goku, the most powerful warrior on Earth, who faces consecutive enemies.

Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors is a fight with the protagonists of the popular animated series. It tells the story of the most powerful warrior on earth, Goku, who has the power to change history. In the manga this figure is called Son Goku, while in Poland the name Songo has become popular, and besides that he is called Kakarrot, Kakarotto and Zero.
The main course in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors is the storytelling mode (apart from it we have a few more), which talks about the television sagas of Nameka, Android and Majina Buu. The game contains alternative endings of these stories, thanks to which we can change the fate of the characters known from television. We start with the Nameka saga and for the points scored in it we buy in a special shop or the other two stories, either hidden characters, or higher difficulty levels, or the Dragon Ball museum.
A few words about other modes. In Battle we fight with one-on-one or triplets, which we create from any of the characters we have already discovered. The battle ends when the of one team defeat all the warriors of the other. In Challange, we fight with two characters against three enemies. Free Battle allows us to fight even with warriors who are on an enemy team. If you want to fight a live opponent, connect the consoles with a cable. Characters can levitate, bring out powerful combinations of blows, as well as attacks from long distances. A well-designed tutorial helps us to master control, thanks to which we learn how to use all the effective blows.
