Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team is a fight in which the player takes control of the heroes known from the Dragon Ball Z series and participates in spectacular, fictionalised clashes of two-person teams. The production was developed by the Japanese company Namco Bandai.
While in of the story the player does not really get anything new here (once again gets the opportunity to get acquainted with the story known from the anime Z series), the mechanics of the game can surprise with a few interesting solutions.
In Tenkaichi Tag Team for the first time in the history of the cycle, players were given a chance to take part in team clashes of the Tag Team type, i.e. 2-on-2 (both in singleleplayer and multiplayer mode). There are up to four PSP s, or a player who controls both characters and a team whose actions are the responsibility of artificial intelligence.
In the first of these cases, the fights are also played through the Network, and not only in ad-hoc mode. Thanks to this procedure it is possible to compete with players from all over the world.
Tenkaichi Tag Team's single player gameplay is divided into three different gameplay modes, including Dragon Walker Mode, in which he automatically s consecutive duels automatically.
