Dungeons II

Dungeons 2 is an RTS game with well-developed economical aspects. The studio responsible for the production is Realmforge, who are also the creators of its predecessor and Dungeons: The Dark Lord.

The player will, once again, delve into the standard fantasy universe and rule the mighty dungeons as the lord of darkness; he is tasked with the expansion of the underground empire, organizing its economy and drafting the army out of powerful demons, which inhabit the realm. This time, however, the dark lord’s ambitions reach out beyond his own lands, as he wishes to conquer the human kingdoms on the surface of the world.

This change has split the gameplay into two layers. In the dungeons, you will focus on the economy and logistics of your realm: gathering resources, constructing various rooms, doing research and training new creatures for your army. Every now and then you will also have to face a human invasion, led by one of their mighty heroes. On the surface, Dungeons 2 transforms from your usual strategy game to a tactical RTS, where you lead an army of monsters and demons to attack the human strongholds and towns. Thanks to the ‘Hand of Terror’ ability of the dark lord, you will also be able to take complete control over single units in your army during a battle.
