Dustborn is an action adventure game set in a dystopian future. The story focuses on Pax, a woman with supernatural abilities who, together with a group of people like her, travels through the devastated and disinformation-ridden United States.
Dustborn is a third-person action adventure game developed by Red Thread Games studio known from such titles as Dreamfall Chapters.
Dustborn takes place in 2030 in disinformation-ridden United States. During the adventure, the player takes on the role of a supernaturally skilled woman named Pax. Together with a group of similar people she pretends to be a folk band and undertakes a mission to transport the package across the country.
In Dustborn the world has changed into a result of mass migration and global warming. The player sits behind the wheel of successive vehicles and travels across the United States divided into several smaller countries. During this time, he goes to the next locations he can explore. You can meet peaceful neutrals and enemies in them. During the fights, the supernatural abilities of the led hero are used.
In addition, as the game progresses, the player encounters other characters who can be recruited to his team. Each of them is characterized by unique abilities.
Dustborn offers a colourful and cartoon-style graphic design.
