Dusty Raging Fist

Mechanics

As befits any brawler, the events in Dusty Raging Fist are presented from the side perspective. During the game, one gets to explore diverse locations (picturesque outdoors, grim caves and creepy catacombs) and fight hordes of enemies. Apart from the relatively easy to defeat and smaller standard units, more powerful bosses will cross player’s path.

Battles are very dynamic, and in order to succeed, a player has to skillfully switch between the character’s special abilities; the trio make use not only of the broad range of blows and ranged attacks, but also of the aforementioned powers of the elements (fire, ice, lightning, wind, earth, and darkness). All of these abilities can be combined into spectacular and powerful sequences. A player can also summon the Mythical Guardians that wreak havoc amidst the enemy forces.

The game also features certain RPG elements – during their adventures, players acquire experience points that can be spent on developing the three characters.

Game modes

In the PS4, SWITCH and PC release of Raging Fist, one can play alone, or accompanied by up to two friends. The multiplayer mode enables players to their forces and explore this colorful world either online or on split-screen.

Technical aspects

Dusty Raging Fist delivers high-quality 2D visuals. The developers replaced the engine, on which the first installment was based, with the Unity 3D engine. This decision results in the more detailed level design and character models, as well as more spectacular combat animations. The game features a distinctive, cartoonish style.
